Italian VOGUE: The Infamous Black Issue

So let me just start off saying that if I had the ability to read Italian, I would not have felt like a 2 year old child making up a story to the pictures as I read along. " And here Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs looks stunning in his sable jacket while trying to pull off the infamous 'blue steel' look we have heard so much about."

There are a few articles that I would love to read in here but of course I can't because as I have stated before...

So I will just get to the part that everyone has been waiting for and talk about how beautiful everyone looked in the clothes.

There were a lot of black models that I have never seen before ( which maybe because I am soooo out of the fashion game or because you truly dont see them advertised like all the other models. I would say the latter but that is just my opinion.) Like Ubah, Sessilee Lopez, and Kiara Kabukuru (yes i picked the ones with the best names so that if you are ever out taking bout fashion you could whip them out and sound "Fashion-Savvy"). And they are very pretty women...of course. And then they had in the mix off all of their new school models...Iman. IMAN!!!!!! Really, Italian VOGUE!!!! SERIOUSLY! Iman is a icon in Black Fashion to me. I believe that there should have been a 20 page spread of her. Ok so that might be a bit much but she should have had at least a 8 page spread.

But I guess to make up for this "fashion faux-pas" so to speak they gave Naomi Campbell a 15 page spread. Now I know all about the beauty that is the woman's body, but I have never seen so many nipples in my life. I mean there have to be at least three or four pages of just Naomi shirtless. And in no way am I saying that these pictures are not tasteful because they are but it was just a lot to take in as I was causually flipping through it. But anyway, she looks beautiful and not crazy, the clothes and jewelry are of course tre magnifique, her hair of course looks beautiful, and she looks quite wonderful for her age.

Now I could go through the entire thing and say the same thing over and over again. But I will not because that would bore you and it definitely would bore me. So let me give you the condensed version. All the Famous African American Women looked girlicious* or fierce. And now that that is out of the way, let me just tell you may favorite part of the Italian VOGUE (and yes, whenever I write VOGUE, it must be capitalized. It is a cardinal rule.)

TOCCARA JONES is my favorite part of the VOGUE!

She has a 15 page spread and in each picture she looks FIERCE!!!!! I mean with every picture I was blown away. I can't even say anything else about it because it was just that good and I am speechless.
But that is all I have to say about this VOGUE. Everyone looked fierce and showed Italia that BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL.
